Linenspa Latex Hybrid Construction & Design
The Linenspa 10” Latex Hybrid is just what the title entails, a hybrid bed made with coils and latex foam. That said, it actually has more polyurethane foam than it does latex foam, which makes sense since it’s a budget-tier mattress. Below is a rough breakdown of the materials inside the mattress.
The bed starts with a 7″ layer of support coils, which are individually wrapped to help reduce motion transfer. Essentially, these coils are replacing the need for a traditional innerspring chassis that tends to just push motion throughout the mattress.
On top of the springs is the comfort layer, which is comprised of polyurethane foam and latex foam. Technically, yes, this is a latex mattress, however, it’s more coils and poly foam than anything else. And this makes sense given that the bed sells for around $300 on Amazon.
The primary support comfort layer is a mix of latex foam and poly foam. It has a responsive, bouncy quality to it that sort of shields the sleeper from the firmness of the coils. This layer is 2″ in total and acts as a transition layer of sorts.
The top layer is a quilted cover with poly foam inside so that it feels fluffy and airy. To be frank, we actually like the pillow topper on this mattress. Sure, it’s not pure latex foam, but it is comfy.
Having said that, this bed is certainly not winning any awards for its looks. We said this wold be good for college students, kids, and guest rooms, and that’s partially based on the fact that this doesn’t look like a “serious” mattress—nor is it trying to be. Just put sheets on it and you’ll be good to go.
Linenspa Latex Hybrid Mattress Cover
Like we stated, the cover is made with poly foam or “Response Foam” inside. It looks like a pillow topper on the mattress and adds comfort. The cover is white with kelly green piping, and a blue Linenspa logo.
The cover is non-removable. In order to keep your mattress clean, simply spot clean the mattress cover by hand with a mild detergent, and blot excess moisture with a clean towel. Let it dry thoroughly at room temperature, away from any heat or direct light.
Also, we usually recommend you rotate your mattress every 3-6 months to fight against any permanent sagging or indentations. This is common practice with most mattresses, but it’s especially important when you’re dealing with a budget mattress. We have plenty of nice things to say about the bed, but it’s not exactly using the materials that a $2,000 mattress is.
Latex Hybrid Firmness And Feel
This mattress feels like a springy and bouncy bed with a soft pillow top. We found it to be quite comfortable. It is a solid medium on our firmness scale, though, that’s up to interpretation since softness/firmness is a subjective matter. Still, most people should agree that this bed clocks in at a medium on the soft-to-firm scale.
Interestingly enough, if the bed did actually have more latex foam, it would feel firmer because latex foam in general isn’t as pressure relieving as poly foam. So, if the bed had a similar construction to the Avocado Green Mattress, not only would it be more expensive (quite a bit more), but also it wouldn’t be as accomodating from a firmness perspective.
Because it has coils and latex foam, you won’t ever get “stuck” feeling or encounter resistance like you might with a memory foam bed such as Nectar or Novosbed.
You can see in the video above that the mattress pops right back after pressure is removed. This will make rotating sleeping positions at night much easier.

As for kids and teens, we think this bed is a good option for them, too. Of course, the same terms apply when it comes to body type. If your teen had a growth spurt and now you have a 16-year-old linebacker for a son, he may have a heavy body type, while your 14-year-old daughter who stopped growing in 8th grade has a smaller frame.
Linenspa Latex Hybrid Temperature Regulation
We’d call it temperature neutral. It doesn’t have any active cooling features, but the coils and latex offer good airflow, which helps to keep things on the cooler side. Like most things with a mattress, though, temperature regulation is multifaceted—you can’t just look at the materials. You have to also consider sleeping preferences, weight, room temperature, sheets, and more.

Is Linenspa Hybrid A Good Mattress For Couples?
Overall, we’d say this is a good bed for couples. The edge support is pretty good, meaning when you and your partner share a full size bed and one of you likes to spread out starfish style in the middle, the other doesn’t end up on the floor because the edge of the bed isn’t holding up.
With regard to motion isolation, the bed is ok. In the video below, you can see that motion does find its way through the mattress, but not nearly as much as with traditional innerspring mattresses.
Let’s be honest—you’re not buying this mattress (or anyone budget mattress) for its ability to deaden motion. You might want it to be good in this department, but it’s not your number one priority.
Linenspa Latex Hybrid Mattress Review Verdict
The first thing we like about this bed is the price. The second is almost everything else, aside from the fact that it’s called a “Latex Hybrid” and it contains only a modest amount of latex foam in reality. This bed is a good option for all sleeper types, all body types, and couples. While we don’t think you’ll want this to be the mattress you sleep on every night for 15+ years, it’s a great option for college students, kids, or guest bedrooms—heck it could end up being the bed you use for your Airbnb.

There are three main requirements for a good base for your Linenspa 10” Latex Hybrid Mattress. First, it needs to be supportive. Secondly, it should keep the mattress clean. And third is that it should provide optimal comfort. Linenspa specifically recommends your base be a boxspring, slatted/platform bed base, a metal grid, or an adjustable base.
This is a tricky one. If you purchased your mattress through Amazon, contact them directly. If you purchased through Linenspa, you have two options. First, if you can find a large enough box, they will send you a prepaid shipping label, and then you can send the bed back for a full refund. How you figure out how to transport the bed is your choice.
After your 30-day trial period is up, you have the option to make a warranty claim if there is a defect with the mattress, and it can be covered by their warranty. If it can’t, then sorry, bud. You waited too long.
